Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership has grown by leaps and bounds in the recent past be it in terms of number of members or the sheer scope of projects being undertaken. With multiple projects running and sometimes meets going on concurrently, there was a long felt need to share information across projects on a more real-time basis and in a more efficient manner.
The geek in me missed a beat or two when Nakul suggested to adopt a Collab Software. Imagine a server (yes our own server) running in the CEL room, serving our requests to access resources latest updates, timelines...
Currently, we are on a lookout for Collaboration Software which can be hosted locally on the BITS servers (CEL server shall have to wait).Basically we need a simple portal where we can have a discussion board carrying the latest updates and a way to share files elegantly. I am currently evaluating activeCollab and I simply love it. If you have any suggestions do drop me a line at rachit@celbits.org.
