I dream, I conquer

As part of the CEL Technology team, we're doing a BizAnalysis on Google Inc. We're still working on it, but there was something I just had to blog about --- the sheer youth of Google employees. The average age of Google employees is just 29.7!
Suddenly, experience no longer seems to be a prerequisite for startup success. In fact, I think startups by founders just out of college seem to be much more successful. Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Netscape and Virgin certainly seem to set the rule. Is it because experience is no longer important, or that young people are able to work harder, longer and more creatively than their older counterparts? I don't know, but the facts are out for all to see.

Does that mean that older people can't startup? Of course not. It just means that if you're a young guy (or girl) with a dream, you needn't be afraid of more mature company. You dream, you conquer.

PS: if you're that aforementioned young guy or girl, we've got lots of pointers for you to get started on the CEL links page. Stand Tall!
